Fieldwork offers artists the time and space to take risks, share works in progress, and to exchange non-directorial, peer-to-peer feedback in a studio setting. Our unique workshop is great for dance makers, composers, playwrights, poets, spoken word performers, and more! *Up to 30 hours of FREE rehearsal space will be available for Summer Fieldwork registrants through our Adopt-an-Artist program. NEW FOR SUMMER 2018: We've updated the Fieldwork Basics to be more race-explicit and inclusive for artists of all identities. This upcoming 6-week session will be facilitated by dancer, choreographer, vocalist, director, and educator Naoko Maeshiba. This session is likely to sell out.
